As we age, our collagen and elastin production declines; Collagen gives our skin its strength and Elastin enables our skin to maintain its elasticity and keep its original form. Due to the natural ageing process, less production of these two proteins results in less volume, looser skin, more wrinkles, and less elasticity. Injecting dermal filler into different depths and areas will help fill in wrinkles, restore volume and enhance facial features resulting in a smoother, more ageless appearance.

Although the procedure is not painless, it is most often described as uncomfortable and dermal fillers are typically made with a numbing agent to ease the discomfort, we also offer a topical anaesthetic compound to help with your experience

Expect your Dermal Filler appointment to take between 20-90 minutes, depending on the areas being treated and if any anaesthesia is required.

Fillers typically last between 6-24 months depending on the type of filler used and prescribed to you as well as your goals, body, and lifestyle. You will learn about the duration of your treatment from our cosmetic nurse during your consultation.

It is possible for fillers to last anywhere from 3 months to several years, after which they can be repeated. Multiple treatments may be required to achieve your aesthetic goal

Treatment may temporarily cause some side effects in the treatment area. We recommend planning 4 weeks in advance before any big events (weddings, birthdays, trips) Bruising, redness, swelling, pain, and itching are the most common side effects. You will receive post-treatment instructions from our cosmetic nurse during your complimentary consultation.
